Campo Hermoso

Campo Hermoso bursts with playful flavour — think pink bubble gum, grilled pineapple, and a hint of elderflower. Bright starfruit lifts the acidity, and it finishes on a silky, refreshing raspberry sorbet. Sweet and vibrant, this is a coffee made to make you smile.

About The Coffee

This sun-dried, honey processed coffee shines with bright, playful character and precise, clean flavours. Co-fermented with açaí, the process lifts sweetness while keeping the cup clean and expressive.

Grown in Quindío by fourth-generation farmer Edwin Noreña, a trained agro-industrial engineer and Q-Grader, it reflects his unique approach – blending tradition with science through experimental cofermentation, where hops and fruits are introduced during processing to create extraordinary, layered flavours.

Edwin Noreña — Circasia Quindío
A fourth-generation farmer from Quindío, Edwin Noreña has transformed his family heritage into a hub of innovation at Finca Campo Hermoso. As a trained agro-industrial engineer and Q-Grader, Edwin blends tradition with science.
He is renowned for his "co-fermentation" techniques—inspired by craft brewing—where he introduces hops and fruits during processing to create extraordinary coffee. We visited Campo Hermoso in Oct 2025 and were impressed with his coffee for their complexity, precision, and bold, unconventional flavour profiles.

Circasia, Quindío
Quindío sits at the centre of Colombia’s Coffee-Growers Axis, a small but exceptionally fertile Andean department shaped by volcanic soils, abundant rivers, and cool high‑elevation climates. With rainfall around 2,500 mm and temperatures near 18°C, the region offers ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation and vibrant cup profiles. Although modest in size, Quindío is densely mountainous, with most of its terrain above 1,000 meters and covered in coffee farms that range from tiny family plots to ambitious estates.
Its location between Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali makes it a cultural and tourism hub, known for colourful towns, cloud forests, and dramatic landscapes. Campo Hermoso’s coffees reflect this environment—clean, expressive, and shaped by the region’s unique combination of volcanic terroir, abundant water, and stable high‑altitude climate.
