La Pradera (the meadow) is a rich and flavourful coffee with notes of dark chocolate and honey coming through very clearly. The coffee has a medium body with low acidity, giving it great balance and a rich aftertaste. It pairs well with fruits and deserts and in our opinion is a true celebration of Colombian coffee.
Finca La Praderas is a 85 hectares farm surrounded by fruit trees (bananas and orange trees), as well as abundant crystal-clear water sources. Together with its rich soil and the ample shade offered by larger trees around the farm, it has earned recognition in Santander for having some of the best coffee growing conditions in the region.
Owned by the Daza family for three generations and currently managed by Oscar and Mildred Daza, the two extend the efforts made by their parents and grandparents through their respect for agriculture and commitment to quality coffee.
This is shown through the amazing results of their harvests each season and the reputation they have built for pushing boundaries and refining the specialty coffee processes.
