OUR THOUGHTS
Pacamara is a very interesting varietal that displays complex acidity. Thanks to this, Finca El Porvenir has fantastic and intricate fruity notes, like Raspberry, Papaya and Green Apple. In these beans you can also taste a desert-like sweetness, that reminded us almost of a Millionaire Shortbread! This coffee is great to enjoy with milk, or on its own using a pour-over brewing method. The Finca El Porvenir is a limited edition bean, so make sure you grab it before it’s gone!
ORIGIN
The Finca El Porvenir farm is situated in Huila, a high-altitude and mountainous region in the southwest of Colombia. Coffee beans from this department are widely known as being of exceptional quality, and account for a large amount of all coffee produced in Colombia.
The coffee that is harvested from this farm follows a strict ripeness criteria, exposed to a dry fermentation of 78 hours inside grain pro bags at 20 degrees. Afterwards it is pulped, gently washed and dried on raised beds to achieve an ideal moisture content. This microlot is 100% Pacamara.
