The distinct notes of early grey and molasses offer a pleasing complement to the sweet aroma of this coffee. Given its delicate complexity, we recommend these beans to those using the Chemex or V60 pour over method as well as black coffee fans.
Don Hector Castro heads up production of this coffee within the small coffee producing town of Caramanta, located in south Antioquia. Loma Casagrande is located in the middle of a mountainous region with very steep hills and no paved roads.
This makes the farm inaccessible by anything other than a 2-hour horse ride and makes the experience of finally discovering the sheer beauty of the farm (and its beans) hugely rewarding.
