Notes: Earl Grey Tea, Sugarcane, berries & Hints of White Chocolate
Farmer: Hector Castro
This coffee had us convinced from the point you smell the sweet aromatic green beans and the results from roasting confirmed it for us. The natural drying process gives these beans distinctive notes, with excellent aromas of earl grey and molasses - making it great for drip methods. Given its complexity of notes, this is a must try for coffee aficionados.
Don Hector Castro is an allied producer from the small coffee town of Caramanta, located in south Antioquia. Loma Casagrande is located in the middle of a mountainous region with very steep hills and no paved roads. This makes the farm inaccessible and the only way in and out is a 2-hour ride by horse or mule, which makes taking coffee out of the farm a real adventure!
