This coffee is a great all rounder, perfect for anyone who enjoys a sweet and balanced cup. As well as being a fantastic organic coffee bean, what really stands out to us about Hacienda El Calapo is its intense aromas and tasting notes of milk chocolate, apple, walnuts and malt.
ORIGIN
Hacienda el Calapo is run by the Salazar Ortiz family who have been handling the cultivation and processing of very high quality specialty coffees for over 50 years. Production here is 100% organic certified and its crops are grown under the shade of native forests and nature reserves.
The farm is located on the eastern Andes mountain range in an area called San Gil, Santender, surrounded by plenty of natural water and rich soil — ideal for specialty coffee growing!
